Review: Very solid containers - I got these cause I was getting tired of Lean Cuisine changing their recipes, skimping on portions, and raising their prices, so I entered the world of meal planning. I feel a lot better about microwaving glass instead of plastic, so I decided to get this set of glass containers, and I am super-happy with them. They're a good size, so even though I'm not filling them up that much, there's plenty of room if I do ever need to. And they're easy to clean (the lids have a removable gasket, which is very nice to have). I have *not* microwaved the lid cause I think the directions say not to, so the lids haven't warped or discolored or anything yet. I also hand wash them, so I can't really say how they do in the dishwasher. The glass part is most likely fine in the dishwasher. I'd say the lids shouldn't go on the bottom rack at least, if you're wanting to break the rules. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase, and I'm tempted to buy more to use them for leftovers as well. I think the only thing keeping me from it is that they don't nest super-well. They kind of do, which is honestly better than I was expecting (I'd say it saves you about an inch if you nest them as opposed to stacking them with the lids on). But our cabinet space is very limited, so if I'm gonna use these for food storage, I'd like them to nest a little better than that. But maybe I'll change my mind at some point. Can I order just one replacement ?** A: I believe so, at least when I bought mine. One of the lids cracked in the corner. I didn't remember who I ordered it from (it was awhile ago) but noticed the Zulay product looked identical so I emailed them and asked if I could purchase a lid or two. Zulay actually WAS the original company I ordered from and they gave me replacement products for free!! As per their guarantee!! I was super pleased and bought even more. **Q: What material lids are made of? are they bpa/bps free?** A: It says on the box bpa free, hope this helps! **Q: Can you really put these in the oven? Amazon description says you can, but the box they come in doesn't say oven-safe anywhere.** A: The glass container is safe to be used in the oven up to 600 degrees (without the plastic lid). **Q: Are the lids dishwasher and microwave safe?** A: The lids are supposed to be dishwasher and microwave safe. However... I do not use the lids in the microwave because I have a specific microwave lid that I use for everything I "nuke" and, though I have put the lids in the dishwasher, I've only put them on the top shelf. Why take chances? I LOVE this containers, btw, and will definitely buy more.
