These are just like the high dollar name brand tongs I’ve bought before, but are a fraction of the price. Really great for outdoor bbq or indoor cooking.

These are nice and long. Perfect for a reaching into a hot grill. They are not super heavy duty, but they are a good medium weight metal. What sets these apart from the cheaper ones is the nice hinge and locking mechanism.They should last for a good while. I'm happy with them and my husband the "BBQ guru" likes them too.

I bought these for my daughter's wedding two years ago and these are still like new. Very good quality and dependable tools for large buffet type meals. I would definitely buy again!

I have these all over the house to help me retrieve items dropped to the floor. Works perfectly for my use.

So I have some shorter locking tongs, which I love for various reasons. When you are limited for space its nice to have a pair of tongs that lock and take limited space instead of sprawling all over the place and falling on the deck! I also bought the longer ones for when we entertain (my grilling space is 34"x18") So when you are trying to turn/move food around your hands can end up in the "hot zone". Yes you can use Ove gloves but they can be cumbersome and take away from your dexerity. These tongs keep my hands further from the heat. They are also dishwasher safe

These tongs are the right length for a large grill and work very well.
