They take a bit of use to break them in at first. The tolerance are tight and some CLP or lube will help.I specifically bought these because they accommodate larger wrists than my S&W cuffs. I elected for the black version because the nickel finish is slippery. Having key holes on both sides of the cuffs is a nice touch.One thing about these is they will rust if not taken care of. I was involved with a three day man hunt. One day for 10 hours I was on foot in the rain. I was so tired and did not get a chance to check them until the next day. I noticed that they had started to rust on the parts where the finish had worn off. This did not affect the function and was only cosmetic. I cleaned the rust off and now apply some CLP every now and then. Other than that they work as intended and have had no issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made *by M***0 on July 2, 2015* I have my reasons for wanting orange handcuffs... These are sturdy and great, but bear in mind they are less comfortable for subjects wearing them. Seems odd, but try to wear your own cuffs for a few minutes to see what they are like. I suggest keeping chained cuffs with you as well so you have options.There is noticeable scuffing on some of the bolt heads where they contact the handcuff case, but I don't mind. I will surely be able to tell these from everyone else's cuffs for my entire career.The double locking mechanism on the edge is much easier to operate than Smith and Wesson's design. The hinges are designed so as to fit into normal handcuff cases, unlike ASP's. It took a smidgen of graphite and five minutes of playing with them to get them pretty smooth.Easily worth the extra couple of dollars over normal handcuffs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durability *by A***E on October 5, 2022* I've ordered several pairs of these cuffs, simply because I work in a school and the kids interact with the color differences. Overall the durability of these are great even when on patrol and easily assessible to double lock. Can't complain, just wished the color lasted longer but all things have wear and tare after time.
