**Q: What is the inner diameter of the circular hole?**
A: Sorry this answer took long, we were out of town.  It's 2 1/2" diameter, it's not as durable material as our older one. New and improved is not always better.  Sheryl

A: Don't know if it is NSF rated, but it is just molded plastic with no seams that is easily cleaned.

**Q: How large the platform size (the surface this scoop sits on) of my scale has to be to use this scoop?**
A: It's approximately L=6.0"x W=4.250". It's not totally a rectangle. It's formed to a slight point at scoop end. I would say it has no problem fitting on small digital kitchen scales.

**Q: How much does this weigh when empty?**
A: I have 2 of these. Each weigh a different amount. One is 7.5 ounces and the other is 8.5 ounces.
