The EZ-Troll Step can be used on most boat and utility trailers, it fits frames up to 2-Inch W x 5-Inch H. The EZ-Troll Step allows easy access to storage compartments and reel access. I would suspect this would be the case with it's compatibility with many Ranger Trail trailers with surge brakes. A word to the manufacturer - you may want to give some thought to an appearance upgrade on this product. It is utilitarian only and doesn't complement the appearance of a boat rig at all. This step is excellent as it is larger than looks, easy to install and above all works great.
