It wasn't loud enough for us. And it didn't last. After just a couple months, the little prong in the back where you plug in your input disappeared. I'm not sure whether it popped in or out, it's just missing. So without that little metal piece, there is no way to make the system connect to your phone or ipad unless you have bluetooth, but when we are at dance competitions there is often no internet.
