Stealth Cam G45NG Max 2 Camera 30MP 45 IR Emitters Next Gen Night Imaging, Multi, One Size

This is the 4th stealth cam I have purchased. I have found them to be reliable and easy to program. This latest iteration in the GxxNG line continues that quality. Pictures are great. I like the faster trigger speed. That helps particularly at night to minimize blur and get sharper images. The flash range is great with good light out 60-70 feet to be able to identify animals. Solid camera for the price.

I purchased this to replace/upgrade a StealthCam that I bought at Costco several years ago. That had worked well, but decided it was worth it to get better quality pictures. This one did make better quality pictures, but was otherwise problematic. Using the Qset for photos, the camera took hundreds of pictures one right after the other during the day, nothing during the night. Using Qset for video, it didn't take any day or night, even though there was other evidence of creatures in the yard.Removing/inserting the SD Card was awkward and difficult. The old one was a piece of cake. The door on the new one is more difficult to open. The display does not show how many pictures have been taken as the old one did. Overall, I am not happy with this camera and will return it.

I have four of these cameras using the Stealth Cam 12vdc battery and am very pleased with the picture quality, day or night, and the motion trigger sensor operation. No complaints here.

I was really happy with the NG45MAX, so I was looking forward to this new model. At first it was awesome, I thought it was Stealth Cam's best model ever; fast trigger time & the best quality videos for day and night recordings, etc. BUT after just a few uses, it started recording one video after another without anything triggering it, until either the SD card was full, or the batteries died. And this happened in photo mode also, I'd get hundreds of videos or pics of absolutely nothing but trees. The 2nd NG45MAX 2 that I got for Christmas did the same exact thing and neither changing settings or a hard reset helped. This seems to be a flaw specific to this model, so I will be contacting Stealth Cam. And I can't recommend this camera unless they update the firmware to fix this problem

takes video when put up and taken down but nothing at night when animals are present , have tried everything insttructions very vague .

Junk… I buy new ones every year and this year they are all junk. Time to switch brands. They won’t answer the phone and won’t reply to emails either. Stay away from stealth cam, no customer service at all, doesn’t exist! -Roth
