Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Quick Fix® Mix is the fast way to cover bare spots in your lawn for a quick, temporary repair. With this blend, you will see seed germinate within 4 to 7 days! Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Quick Fix® Mix is designed for temporary repair in full sun, and has a course bladed texture with low drought resistance. It can be used to provide ground cover and quickly reapir bare spots in your lawn. For best results, apply in the spring or fall when air temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 80°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. One 3 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Quick Fix® Mix covers up to 500 sq. ft.

Review: Good for winter in Florida, zone 10A - I live in Tampa Bay that's zone 10A. I tried growing this grass in springtime and it grew fast and beautiful but it was dead in a matter of a couple of weeks. It won't stand the heat even if I watered twice a day. Now I tried again in early November and it grew slower but it has really filled in all the bare spots and it looks wonderful. Thin and soft grass like up north. I have cut it twice so far. It's end December and the photos I'm attaching were taken today. I will update when it dies. I hope it will go through all the winter season at least...
Review: but this works great as a grass starter too - I was extremely skeptical about using this as the owners of our house said they tried to get grass to grow and couldn't. We have 2 dogs and needed to get something to grow to control them tracking mud into our house after it rains, which has been happening a lot here in Virginia the past few days. We even tried to transplant some of my neighbors grass after we helped till up a garden for her but it doesn't seem to be taking as well as the seeds have! I bought one 3lb bag and decided to give it a try. We have a ton of grass growing around it the back yard! I know this is meant to be a "filler" type, but this works great as a grass starter too. It was in the 90's when we planted it and we watered the back yard several times a day during that time to keep the seeds from burning up. It's been about a week and little tuffs are EVERYWHERE!! We plan to buy a lot more bags once we see what fills in over the yard and get a full lawn from this! below are before and after photos. We still have a long ways to go, but I'm confident that this will get the job done and grow us a full backyard! Ill update the photos as the time progresses!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: It says for a "temporary lawn"...?  What does that mean? Hmmm...**
A: Temporary lawn usually means the seeds come up real quick but it will brown with the heat of summer and probably not return. It's a quick fix for fast results but not results that last. Unless you are selling your home, don't use this.

**Q: Can I just use my hand to spread the seeds? I don't have room to store a spreader**
A: We recommend using a spreader to get uniform coverage.

**Q: Is there a permanent mix comparable to this grass seed? I love the way it looks.**
A: I use Scott's Thick'R Lawn 3 in 1 solution for thin lawns. It is a seed plus fertilizer plus soil improver. It has thickened my lawn and really made it look green and lush.  My neighbors have asked what am I doing to have such a green lawn.

**Q: Can i use it in new jersey?**
A: It is a seed for ryegrass. If ryegrass doesn't grow in New Jersey, then this would not be a good product for you.  I am in Illinois and it has worked fine filling in bare spots in my lawn.  I've shared it with a couple of my neighbors and it has worked for them as well.
