However, it is good quality, and a reasonable price! In the end, I created my own, but used all the parts from this kit except the short aluminum pole holder it came with, as it is too short to support any long pole. I created a PVC version from hardware store parts, but the Z-bracket that came with the kit was critical part of that getting mounted. Needless to say, its rock solid (7 screws) and I can shake the van with it! So overall I was still very happy with this kit.
