A: no

**Q: Can this tell me how deep a water line tracer wire is?**
A: Unfortuantely not. This is a 512hz locator that can only work along with a 512hz sonde transmitter (like locate the sonde in the sewer camera head). It CANNOT work alone and this one does not have a depth indicator either.

**Q: can this also locate small things like coins or jewelry?**
A: no

**Q: Will it find buried plastic [pvc] water lines about a foot underground?**
A: No. This locator is designed for detecting the 512Hz transmitter only. You need to have a 512Hz transmitter in order to use this locator.
