Should work for small job like that. Has trouble staying lit if you turn the bottle upside down though. **Q: Can this be used with a 20lb tank and hose?** A: If your hose has the cga600 connection. Common on the 16oz disposable cylinders. The torch will not connect to the common connection on the 20-40lb tanks.
