MizunoLeather Classic Belt

This belt is as advertised: a quality leather baseball belt that can be custom fit for any kid. All negative reviews are based on a misunderstanding of the belt's functionality. No, the belt is not too big for your kid - you can open up the latch to separate the buckle from the strap and then simply cut the strap to whatever size you want. And no, the belt is not broken - the buckle separates from the strap to allow resizing, and can be reattached simply by closing the latch.

This is a quality belt. It looks great and has a nice shine to it. I’ve taken head first slides with it and have not had any strange edges or corners press into me. It’s a good upgrade from the old elastic belts with leather tips.

Let me start off by saying I love Mizuno products so I had a feeling I wasn't going to be disappointed when I got this belt. It's very well made so you get what you pay for. The leather is thick yet still bendable and it has a leather protector (made of leather) behind the buckle which gives it a nice finished look. The buckle itself is dark too so it blends together nicely. My son is only 8 and while he's not playing professional ball or anything, I love this look rather than the cheaper elastic belts. I know for him that when he looks good, he concentrates harder on playing.Oh and by the way, I got the belt in lighting fast time - literally 2 days!!

Easy to cut and adjust to size.

The belt itself looks nice and seems to be made of a good material, however, the buckle is poorly made and easily comes detached from the belt. My son wore this only twice and did not slide or dive head first, etc. -- nothing that put extra force on the buckle (although a baseball belt buckle should be made to withstand that extra force, since it is part of baseball). The belt came partially detached from the buckle (as shown in the photo) and it cannot be fixed. The buckle is not actually fastened to the belt. Rather, the buckle holds onto the belt with a toothed clamp-like feature that does not open and close. I cannot understand why Mizuno didn't simply rivet the buckle to the belt. You will be sorry if you purchase this belt.

El Cinturón dice q es 50 pero no lo es yo uso una 40y ese me queda chiquito y me sierra en el primer hueco si engordo dos libras no me sirve quisiera saber cómo lo puedo cambiar

Durable leather, looks great.Clasp for belt buckle seems a bit weak, have to keep realigning the buckle from slipping off the belt about twice per game. I catch, so frequent up and down may have to do with it.
