Rust on frame
I purchased this on April 14, 2020 and it is now June 15, 2020, so a total of 2 months almost to the day. We have a lucky dog kennel in our basement for our three dogs when we are not home. The biggest issue is water. They need readily available water, but with three dogs they go through a lot of water. Unfortunately if we left a bowl of water on the ground we always came home to a mess. Therefore, when I found this I was excited.Upon initial use I was impressed with its sturdy construction, how well it attached to the kennel, and also that the bowls are held in place by the bracket making it very difficult for the bowls to be removed by dogs. The bracket for me was the clincher over some of the similar items available on amazon and elsewhere. I was thrilled, and have been for two months. I simply use a watering can that I fill from the sink and fill the bowls. It is perfect and keeps me from having to remove the bowls every time. Instead I just remove when needed for cleaning.Unfortunately today I noticed that the bracket that holds the bowls in place is starting to rust. The bowls themselves are fine. Once cleaned they look like new. It's the actual bracket that holds the bowls in place (see the picture). This is highly frustrating as I don't want my dogs ingesting rust as they drink water. I am perplexed that a $50 water bowl system would be made from materials that won't resist rust for greater than 2 months. It is MADE to come into contact with water. I could understand if it was $20 or $30, but not for $50.Before the rust this would be a 5 star product for me. A bit expensive, but worth it for me as it solved a significant problem. I wavered between giving 1 or 2 stars, but ultimately decided to give this two stars, because it is only the bracket that is showing rust. If it had lasted longer, maybe 12 months or so, before showing rust I would have likely done 3 stars. But 2 months and already rusting...I can't justify it. Hopefully there is a similar product out there with quality stainless construction, or maybe I can find a bracket at the hardware store to replace this piece or maybe wire brush the rust and give it a coat of good quality paint...we'll see what I find. It's not that I wouldn't recommend the product, but something definitely for people to consider when purchasing. Overall I am torn, but very frustrated.

Gone through several kennel bowls before this one
I love these bowls. My puppy has left a mountain of broken kennel bowls in his wake, slapping bowls out of their snap holders, and snapping plastic of any kind. I was seriously going through a new set of bowls every 1 to 2 weeks.I was apprehensive about buying these for that same reason. I love these bowls, they're heavy duty and have held up to my mischievous 90 pound puppy. I was initially hesitant about how hard it would be to remove the bowls from the cradles, but everything has worked so, so, soooo much better than I could have hoped. If you have a dog that's been breaking their kennel bowls, go with this one, hands down cannot recommend it enough.

THESE DON'T FIT AND DON'T DO THE JOB!!
Bought 6 of these rotating sets for my new dog boarding facility. The one star I gave is merely for the concept and because it doesn't allow a zero star rating. Everything sucked. Design flaws make it very challenging to be used on Lucky Dog 2x4 welded wire kennels, bowls are flimsy and dent easily, and it is impossible to remove/insert one of the two bowls when fully rotated to the outside of the kennel. Bottom line is that I spent alot of money and will still have to open the kennel doors and enter the kennels in order to feed/water dogs. Of course I didn't realize this until after the kennels themselves were installed and I spent over an hour trying to get the first set of bowls put in. This was 34 days after ordering, so with only a 30 day return period I am now stuck with $360 worth of product that does not function correctly. Save yourself the aggravation and don't even bother with these!

Great concept, horrible design, way overpriced
I got these for a dog boarding and daycare facility. It is a great concept but has negative design flaw that if I had know I would have reconsidered. When you flip it around to the front the bowls are by no means easy to remove for cleaning. For one the framing this goes in partially blocks the top of the bowl. Then they have some sort of clamp system that goes over the top of the bowl and is a pain to work around. The device you pull on to turn it is also tedious and flimsy Not sure what will happen if and when it breaks. As much as these cost I expected much, much better. I am very frustrated and disappointed and feel like we way overpaid.

Easy Install
Well made, durable in appearance, works as advertised. Would probably be difficult or impossible to install on chain link but I have 1 inch by 1 inch flat wire mesh and it fits fine. I am using it with a large cat enclosure. I like the stainless steel bowls and now I won't have to go inside and risk having my cats escape. The housing has a durable black powder coat and the nuts and bolts are either stainless or chrome plated, not certain which. Stainless is always the best choice for outdoor hardware. If it rusts I will update my review. For now I give it two thumbs up.Update 4/17/2016The bolts and nuts are rusted. They are not stainless steel. I still recommend the product however.

Crap design! FIND SOMETHING ELSE!
Crap design! These are not like the bowls purchased previously! The bowls slip through, they are too small for bowl frame! And the screw/nut securing function is a pain in the butt to unscrew every time you feed/wash!DO NOT BUY!

They work well
These are sturdy and my pup can’t break them like she did with other plastic ones that I had purchased prior. One bowl arrived with a dent, but my dog doesn’t mind 😋. I would recommend these bowl for sure. I was able to secure them tightly so that they don’t move.
