Cycling is a money pit and there are so many things you can buy. Most things cost a lot of money. Shoes, helmet, jerseys. The bike! When you spend a ton of money on a helmet and it gets stinky and gross from sweat, you need to help you Hubby figure out a way to keep his stuff nice. Or at least last a bit longer before he shells out another few hundred for a helmet. I found these online and he was resistant. "I don't want to wear that," he says. "I see people with those bandanas and they look stupid." Well you can hardly tell he is wearing anything once the helmet is on. Now he has five. After a ride, he throws it in the wash.It really does keep his head warm on cooler days (keeping the heat in) and cool on hotter days (by absorbing the sweat). He has an average sized head and I think that with the bandana you can get a tighter fit, but there is some stretch and once it is on your head with a helmet over it, it's not going anywhere.
