It’s compact and the bubble is small making it ideal for a rifle with a short LOP. This is only my opinion, if your eyes are less than perfect, like mine, you might find this helpful. Level is solid, well made and was simple to mount, fits my needs perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works *by W***L on August 17, 2016* It's not perfect, but it will do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ SWFA bubble level.... *by V***T on August 27, 2015* I purchased this bubble level over the Vortex level largely because I have a SWFA scope. If you shop Amazon carefully, you'll find that the Vortex may be offered for less and qualifies for free shipping which the SWFA does not. That said, now for a review of this bubble level: 1.) the product is made in China....not the USA. 2.) I use a rear flip-up lens cap and find that this level with its side placement allows the cap to be raised without obscuring eye contact of the level. 3.) The SWFA level has its edges rounded and more contoured than the Vortex....which I like. 4.) The length of the bubble glass on the SWFA is shorter and there is no center markings on this level.....so If you glance up and see the bubble on the SWFA, you know you are level.....the Vortex may require more time and checking to make sure the bubble is centered.....advantage to SWFA as a quick glance is all I want to give and then back to the scope.
