If my quick research is correct apparently there is something called USB-IF (Universal Serial Bus Implementers Forum) that is causing a ton of confusion because they keep redoing the naming convention as technology changes (whoever keeps changing the convention should be fired for how much confusion they have caused). Anyway a USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen1 or SuperSpeed USB port all have a max speed rating of 5 Gbps.
