It's quite simple, very few manufacturers seem to get a shape of trainer that is comfortable in a larger size. I often find that, after wearing for a few hours, I get foot and ankle pain. Not so with this line of Nike trainers. Nike just seem to have really got the shaping and support right for larger feet. Great for running or just if you're on your feet all day. They are also pretty durable. Highly recommended. I've now given up trying to find a comparatively comfy sports shoe for big feet - after 20+ years of trying, this it.
