They are 1/2 amp hour larger than the standard compact 20v max but are the same physical size. **Q: I just got new dcb203-2 batteries but they do not have xr on the batteries or the packaging (clam shell). are these good batteries?** A: The XR was dewalts way of saying it was a higher capacity battery before they made the 3, 4, 5, 6 amp hour batterys. Now days the xr is referencing a brushless motor tool.
