I rolled out my pastry and was then left to “free roll” to emboss my pattern on my perfectly flat pastry. It was not always successful and I was stuck until I found these. They are flexible, stackable and are perfect for adding an embossed pattern to my prerolled flat pastry and keeping it to the same height. I found them easy to use and easy to clean. I could have done with a wider embossed rolling pin for my project but these worked fine.
