I found this book to be an insightful extension of Keith's work in Never Eat Alone. I am a recruiter so many of the concepts in Keith's first book resonated with me and how I have built my network.This book offers an important and deeper insight into how to build important and more intimate business relationships. I expected to love the book what I didn't expect was he keen observation that many people who excel at relationship building often fail at asking their network to help them. I felt that Keith did an outstanding job of pointing out the psychology behind this and how to build your lifeline relationships. I think we all know why we need lifeline relationships but this guide helps to make it actionable.

Keith's first book, "Never Eat Alone" focused on networking. I heard Keith speak in Atlanta, and he stated that even beyond being well-networked, each of us needs a personal Board of Directors in order to be successful. This group will help you succeed by giving you candid, honest and caring feedback as well as holding you accountable. Keith is a wonderful resource; this book challenges each of us to become vulnerable in order to grow. It is an ambitious and challenging program.

Having read "Never Eat Alone" it was hard for me to believe there was another book to be made about creating business relationships. I was dead wrong. I devoured this book over the course of a weekend gaining insights in every chapter. Time and again throughout the book, I saw myself in Mr. Ferrazzi's stories and examples. Having just started a new consultancy, WGYB has given me an enormous gift to start this journey. By asking for help when I need it and truly searching for those mentors/business associates that will be true "partners", my relationships will be stronger and, ultimately, my business will benefit.Thank you Keith for your many words of wisdom!
