After talking to my HOA President about what we can do to try and stop the drivers who fly down our roads, he basically said it's up to the police department to install any stop signs or speed bumps and suggested I buy one of these to put out when the neighborhood kids are outside playing. Whenever my kids go outside, I place this at the front of my driveway and I've noticed it helps a LOT (yes, we still get the occasional a-hole who is driving way too fast) but I'd say 90% of the cars that are entering the neighborhood slow down. It's a very obvious thing to notice when you're driving, it really sticks out and grabs your attention (how can it not, esp. with the flag?) The base of it needs to be filled with either water or sand so that it won't blow over. I have mine filled with water and it holds up great!
