It's great for a quick, single stage correction since it (somehow) cuts decently and finishes well. I use it both with cutting pads and light polishing pads depending on my goals at the time. This is also a great second step for clearing haze caused by heavy cut compound and wool on a rotary (for example). On hard, medium and semi-soft clears, this finishes great. If working with a soft or very soft clear, I still use one more lighter-cut step. The picture and description do not show the 4/6 designation.** A: Hi,Yes and no. From what I understand the 4/6 is perfect finish but made for use with random orbital polishers where the original perfect finish was designed to work primarily with rotary. I purchased this product a few months back and it was perfect finish not the 4/6. **Q: Did you polish come with a seal? The small bottle polished about 4 cars. **Q: What king of polisher and pad is recommended for this product?** A: Rotary or dual-action buffer would work just fine, I believe sonax recommends a orange medium polishing pad for moderate swirl removal. It's great for a quick, single stage correction since it (somehow) cuts decently and finishes well. I use it both with cutting pads and light polishing pads depending on my goals at the time. This is also a great second step for clearing haze caused by heavy cut compound and wool on a rotary (for example). On hard, medium and semi-soft clears, this finishes great. If I had to choose a flaw, I would say this dries relatively quickly and can make a rotary polisher a bit harder to control, but it's still not bad and no worse than other compounds. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This stuff is awesome *by R***N on October 20, 2024* This stuff is one of the best waxes I've used. The first photo is what our cars look like after they've been washed and clayed. We live next to a cement plant that absolutely wreaks havoc on our vehicles. The first photo shows what's on the paint. I used this wax on a torq orbital with a chemical guys medium white pad and polished my vehicle. It took all of the contaminates off. That includes the cement dust, fallout and iron rust stains that's notorious on light colored cars. I applied 5-6 drops and worked a 2x2 area. As long as the pad was clean it had a long workable life and left no dust at all. It also never hardened making it hard to come off like other compounds do. I was expecting to have to use an orange pad and a heavy cutting compound first and then finishing with this on a white or black hex pad. Didn't need to. For the price I've never bought a better compound. I have probably 50 different kinds of waxes, sealants and cutting compounds in my basement and the rest of them will collect dust.
