Been using a diamond sharpener... But they dont seem to last very long. So went back to tried and true wet stone. This is a great sharpening wet stone. Only takes a couple passes to get your knives sharp. Highly recommend. And wer stones last for years. And it cost no more than a diamond sharpener. Win win purchase. Highly recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My knives are like a scalpel now!!! *by W***S on February 12, 2023* I bought this Whetstone to give new life to my kitchen knives. This product is easy to use and does an AMAZING job getting your knives sharp. If/when done properly, your knives will be sharper than when you purchased them. Great product. Also, FYI, be sure to go on YouTube for some instructions so that you can watch how it's done. I binged like 10 videos to learn everything I could beforehand, it definitely helps. UPDATE: Like most knife nerds/sharpeners, I have since purchased other whetstones. Although this whetstone combo works well, the 1000 grit is not as coarse as other whetstones that cut faster. The 6000 grit is fantastic. It's actually softer that many 8000 grit stones. My only minor gripe is the 1000 grit, because when compared to other stones, I have to use considerable more pressure and spend more time on the stone to do what other 1000 can do with less time/effort. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sharpening Stone Whetstone Kit Dual Sided 1000/6000 Grit Professional Whetstone Knife Sharpener Wet Stone Set Nonslip Base, and Fix Stone - Smith's HON1 Honing Solution - 4oz Bottle - Lubricate Sharpening Stones - Built-In Stone Cleaning Agents & Rust Inhibitors - Oil for Tool & Knife Sharpening Stone - Prevents Clogged Pores - Whetstone Sharpening Stone Kit Dual Sided 400/1000 Grit Professional Whetstone Knife Sharpener Stone Wet Stone Set Nonslip Rubber Base --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/184328702-sharpening-stone-whetstone-kit-dual-sided-1000-6000-grit-professional](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/184328702-sharpening-stone-whetstone-kit-dual-sided-1000-6000-grit-professional) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
