Review: Really fresh nettle, top notch!! - If you buy nettle tea in a box, you’ll end up spending about $91 for a pound. This nettle is organic, comes from a trustworthy company, and it’s very tasty. It’s a lot fresher than what I was buying in bulk at sprouts. When I ran out of my loose tea, I would be getting traditional medicinal nettle tea. That’s a great company, but because I have allergies I drink a lot of nettle. I would prefer to get it for this price per pound instead of the $30 per pound I was paying for it in bulk locally. Nettle isn’t just good for allergies; it’s good for pain, it’s good for the digestive system. It’s also good for the genitourinary system in both sexes. It’s easy to look up, it’s an amazing herb.
Review: Good tea - Nice and strong tea, I think it works really well I will say it is chopped into a very fine powder and sometimes it gets a little clogged in my tea strainer but I really like the flavor and I think it's high-quality product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you specify what you have benefited from drinking this Nettles Leaf tea and how long it takes to work after you began drinking it?**
A: I have noticed GREAT benefits from drinking nettle infusions! I began drinking it daily. About a cup in a quart jar cover with almost boiling water and let sit overnight then strain. I have much more energy, I can go all day! I sleep great at night. My iron levels have come up. I can handle stress better and my emotions have leveled out. This stuff has been a miracle for me!! I recommend it to everyone! There are so many benefits from nettle! Oh and I stopped drinking coffee!! Not that I wanted to or tried. I just no longer had a desire for it. I also was able to stop taking my adrenal herbs. I actually add a cup of oatstraw to my nightly nettle now. I began the nettle 8 months ago doing it daily. I noticed results IMMEDIATELY. After 4 months I began to add the oatstraw and after about 6 months I just cut back to 3 or 4 times a week or really whenever I think about it. If I go long without it I can tell!! I love this stuff so much that I am not growing my own nettle!!

**Q: Is this for tea purposes only, or is it safe to consume the leaves? Ok to throw leaves in blender with other ingredients for my morning shake?**
A: I wanted to add one caveat to this. Please do your research if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and plan on using stinging nettle. Many people swear by stinging nettle to help during pregnancy BUT some women have had a miscarriage due to its use.
“Many herbs can cause uterine contractions. Herbs associated with uterine stimulation include black cohosh, blue cohosh, chamomile, comfrey, goldenseal, lemongrass, licorice root, mugwort, rosemary, sage, stinging nettle leaf and yarrow. Herbs commonly used as seasonings are safe when used in food but could be harmful in large amounts in teas; common cooking herbs that cause uterine stimulation include anise, cinnamon, lavender, peppermint oil rosemary and sage.” https://www.livestrong.com/article/419489-herbal-teas-that-cause-uterus-contractions/

**Q: Can anybody tell some recipes with this nettle leaves other than tea ? What are the other ways you can consume this ?**
A: I imagine you could put it in anything you might put spinach in, the real question is, will it still taste good? It's a good question since I think it's a lifetime supply of tea for 1 person. You could probably put some in spaghetti, soups, stews, smoothies, desserts (I've ate food made of Green Tea), etc. without altering the flavor and still get the benefits I would *think*... but might want to google if ingesting is ok JIC. I guess the same could be asked of any plant used to make tea. Maybe it can be chewy, like Bay leaves? Though you could put it in a food processor and turn it into a powder... Personally, instead of drinking it straight, I mix it with my coffee and brew them together.

**Q: I’m new to stinging nettle leaf? Will this help in hair growth since I have thinning hair?**
A: Rule number one. Everyone responds differently to herbs. With that in mind, I am aware of people that have had good results using nettle leaf, both internally and topically, with hair color and thickness. However, my wife experienced no changes of any kind. I use it as a antihistamine, which is its main attribute.
