There’s a ton of cushion around the ears and top of the head. The Mic seems to work well as I haven’t gotten any complaints. The sound quality also seems to be pretty good. For the price these headphones seem to be really, really good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the Price but with some Considerations *by D***O on January 1, 2021* These headphones are certainly adequate for the price. They provide good sound for gaming purposes and are comfortable to wear. The mic boom seems to be solid and rotates up and down well. My issue around these is the fact that part of the cool factor is the lights. If you planned on using these primarily for a console (Switch) and iPad as I did, then just know that in order for the lights to work you must plug the usb portion of the significant wires into a power source somewhere. There's a lot going on here with a long 3.5mm audio cable, a usb cable to power the lights and a plastic housing to control volume. So you now have a fairly significant couple wires hanging and in order to get it to light up at all you must find a usb source. I believe for the majority of PC gamers, these will work just fine and the usb lighting requirement will not be a big deal. PC gamers more often than not will be sitting at a desk with lots of usb option nearby. However if you plan on using these for an iPad or Switch these are not optimal as they simply are not the most portable....and good luck having a usb source with you if you plan on being mobile. I don't think this was clearly enough explained in the description.
