If installed the way I mentioned then you can fill per volume and not have to measure any distances. Make sure you choose the proper fork oil as well, viscosity plays a huge factor in your ride.Ride is firmer than stock, I added a tad more oil, 12cc over stock to increase dampening effect due to my bike having a full touring package and a stocky rider... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They installed easy for my 1984 Honda VF700S *by C***K on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2013* These springs I think were worth the upgrade. I can't tell too much of a difference but my front end does feel a little bit stiffer. My forks don't hold air for too long so that's why I opted to try these before doing a complete rebuild.
