Review: Punches above its weight in price! - 5 Stars on the quality for the price. To get better quality, one has to spend much more money. No news there, I am sure. For me, as a Western hunter only every few years, this is the maximum I want to spend on a spotting scope. That said, I am extremely pleased with the clarity of the scope on whitetails at about 1300 yards here in Northeast PA. I can easily judge antler size out to a mile, This is an excellent scope for the price and it comes with a great warranty.

Overall imagae resolution in low light is clear and keeps you on the glass a tiny bit longer in those crucial times. The eye piece is comfortable when you find the sweet spot. Zoom and focus adjustment are so easy to use allowing a single hand operation.

A: Depends if you are shooting painted steel. Yes if you are. If you are shooting paper, you probably need more magnification!

I have been casually shopping for a scope for about a year. I sampled them every time I was in a sporting goods store or a friend brought one along. I'm glad I waited. You can't beat this scope. You can spend twice the price and get performance that is only discernable with great effort and sophisticated measurement equipment. I use this at the range and in the woods observing wildlife.
