Ultimately, it caused my computer to shutdown and not reboot (always scary) with an error of a USB port using too much power. I unplugged the keyboard, that didn't fix it, but ultimately I unplugged the cord completely from computer which solved the problem. Thus, I guess one could say the cord failed (which was one of the most difficult to plug in mini usb connectors I've ever used). However, after a year of use, the letter "E" was gone. Out of the box, it did some strange stuff with window key but that was fixed by unplugging, plugging. Hard to believe how many keyboards don't work. In the IBM days they worked forever, in fact that's what I had to find to get back to work. I would have loved for it to have worked as long as one of those keyboards, but it didn't. I guess I could get a new cord, but why and I'm still missing the letter "E."I did like the white backlit keys (hard to find) and the cheery MX Browns had a good touch for a typist, but a computer with a failed keyboard is a big metal (or plastic) box filled with useless electronics. Keyboards shouldn't fail. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great keyboard with a few subjective minor drawbacks *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2018* Only had this keyboard for a couple days, first impressions as a Mac user coming from a Logitech gaming keyboard:PROS:- keyboard feels great to type on, love the brown switches- good build quality- perfect size, can keep mouse/trackball close- dip switches allow the perfect amount of customization and work well- customizable LED brightness- Fn media keys if so desired- flexible cable routing options- detachable cable- unlike a couple others, no manufacturing defects that i can see (LEDs, etc.)CONS:- though it's by design, the white backplate is distracting to me when the LEDs are on- not used to the number key design (numbers/symbols aligned horizontally instead of vertically), i find myself taking extra time to find the symbol i want. if i was a better typist this wouldn't be a problem ;)- if you're coming from a Mac keyboard or some gaming keyboards, the Fn key is on the "wrong" side and takes some getting used toOverall happy with the purchase so far ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive but worth the money *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2017* This keyboard is awesome, everything you need and nothing you don't.
