Nothing is perfect the first time around so we've taken all of your feedback and suggestions and put it all into what we think is the ideal package. Microphone quality and clarity has been significantly improved over the Mk1, adding a more natural tone to your voice and increasing amplification to drive any headset microphone or modmic available. You'll no longer need to unplug headphones to switch between outputs on the ARC, now a convenient switch has been added on the front to making swapping back and forth easy. Analog input has been added so you can use your favorite phone, MP3 or analog source player into the ARC. Our favorite new feature is the deletion of the power supply. The ARC Mk2 can now be powered via USB, making it extremely portable and cutting down on wire mess in a desktop setup. (In vast majorities the ARC Mk2 will perform the same both with and without a power supply, but we've kept the DC port just in case extra power is needed).
