One of the comments states this must be washed off** A: If the surface is clean of debris there is no need to rinse. If you are using this cleanser to remove dirt and debris you need to rinse then sanitize. We have updated the instructions to reflect this more clearly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works great *by K***. on December 6, 2025* works great does leave residue, product is great shipping is not ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy and it works *by T***I on August 16, 2026* Just followed the directions and it quickly and easily cleaned minor dirt in two 5-gal cooler jugs using cold water.
