Imagine my surprise when I got two nice rectangular dishes (in eggplant color) one that is approx-13 by 8.5 and the other approx- 10 by 7- in inches- neither is the dimension of the description, but then I was only supposed to get one. The edges are wavy- so the size is sort of iffy, but I used a tape measure on what I hope is the widest area. These are very lovely- and I will use them a lot. I have several other Appolia pieces, in other colors, ranging from very large baking pieces, so small serving pieces. I love their lead free glaze, and the beauty of the ceramic. It's lovely on the table. I get them whenever i see them on deep discount. I can't tell you whether you will get two pans like I did, when you order the square 2 quart dish, but you should know it's a possibility. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Measurements are inaccurate -- sending it back *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2012* I ordered this with the specific intention of using it in my countertop oven. According to the description, the dimensions are 13 x 12 x 3.4 inches, but when measured from handle to handle, the dimension is almost 14 1/2 inches, which means it doesn't fit. I plan to make a lasagna in it and present it as a gift. I was very careful in choosing this baking dish because I wanted just the right size for the lasagna. The details describe the item as being 14"X8"X2.75". I am sorry to report that it actually measures 11"X6"X2". If you want to include the wavy lip that wraps the top edge in your measurement then you could say that it is 2.75" deep. There is no way to reach the other measurements however. I can't say that I am disappointed with the dish. It is obviously a quality item. I just wish they had accurately represented the size. My lasagna will only be two noodles wide instead of the three that I had planned.
