Shake up the bottle, pour a drop on a surface like a small hand mirror, and use the brush to dab over applied liner. I use a small hand fan to dry it quickly. Then I reapply a little liner if needed. The sealer can smudge liquid liner a bit. It's kinda a lot of effort but it totally works. I've lived with oily lids all my life and this is the first thing that keeps my eyeliner off my upper lids. **Q: Can this be paired with an eyeshadow to make their pigmentation up to 2x more vibrant, and is it safe to use with eyeshadow, blush, lipstick?** A: I scrap a little shadow into a tiny tiny drop, use very fine brush and make my own eyeliner from it. Works great, lasts all day. I'd love to make it thicker, "bold", if you will, put it usually ends up flaking down my face or depositing pigment in places I don't want it. It's a teeny bottle for $20 but I'm hoping it will last long, I have many MUFE products. So far I have only tried this with bare minerals loose eyeshadow and it worked awesome. It helped the shadow stay on my lower last line throughout the day. I hope it will work with a variety of brands. It did make my UD shadow brush stiff so now I can't really use it for anything else other than when I use this eye seal, someone said they used baby oil to clean the brush but I'm afraid the residue of the oil will counteract the "seal" in the product.
