I don't think he needs it and is a bit young for a real manly scent. I saw that people were buying this for young teens and pre teens so decided to give it a try. It smells good. It's strong....he will only need one little spray or I could see it becoming too much quickly. Havent given it to him as will be a gift but I know he will like it.
