It's a soft brittle. The flavor is excellent. It wasn't too sweet and texture was firm but not too hard. Perfect bite size and the individual packages are wonderful. You can enjoy a bag to yourself without being concerned about hand-washing. A perfect gift, or a family favorite for movie night. . Keep a bag handy. I purchased a order for my sister and for myself.
