Keep in mind, I have black, Asian hair so when I first applied it on and left it on for about 15 minutes, there was no change in colour. So I tried it again the second time, I then started noticing how it started going light brown (which is what I wanted). I think it's because black, Asian hair is so dark to begin with, it needs time for the cream to fully stain the hair which is why it worked the second time.
