Even with high temperatures inside the car under the Texas Sun, it has been working without any trouble. If need be you can also change the address of the module for I2C. You can find libraries already there for Arduino as well. All in all, this is one of the better modules! Review: Work ok, but frequency varies between modules, and read range only 3-4cm - I have used PN532 from this and other vendors in several projects before. Recently had trouble reading some custom tags, so I bought a NanoVNA to measure the resonant frequency of these modules and the tags. Tested 5 of the PN532 modules and found that each had a different resonant frequency, ranging from 12.6-15 MHz. None were tuned to 13.56 MHz. Flaky (for me) with ES32 (3.3v) *by A***T on November 16, 2022* I found this to be rock solid with an Arduino. I was never able to get it working in the ESP32's 3.3v environment, but that could have been user error.
