My doctor said the lower back pain was a side-effect and it was tolerable for awhile. But it eventually got so bad it was almost unbearable. I was dubious about this product being as good as Flomax but decided to give it a try after reading about it. My main concern was whether or not it would provide the relaxed free-flow effect that Flomax did but without the lower back pain. To my surprise it did. And it was effective from the very first day I started it. In my honest opinion this product is better than Flomax because it does the same thing but without the negative side-effects. I will stop taking prescription Flomax and continue taking this product. And it is less expensive when you consider that Flomax is a drug that must be taken every day. Flomax is one of the more expensive prescription drugs commonly used by men.
