Only problem is radio has headset jack on rear, not usual speaker jack. Plus it is wired backwards to US wiring standards. Struggled purchasing several adapters that the mfg said would work but didn't. Stumbled across an online review about the radio and a splitter that the person claimed works with eternal speaker on the UV-25X2 radio. Plugged this Y adapter into rear headset jack, then external speaker into the microphone plug on this adapter. Turned on radio and yes!!! It actually worked as I had read online. Even the mfg does not help with correct adapter which works. If you have a BTECH mobile radio, check the rear jack. You will see small headset icon, not speaker. Plug in this adapter, and external speaker to "mic" female on the adapter. Wonderful to be able to have a working external speaker in vehicle. Now I can turn it up loud when desired, without harming internal radio speaker! Excellent quality build and I like the flat wires, which take less space.
