From the manufacturer About Us Sidney's father was a cabinetmaker and his mother funded the business venture with 50 pounds. During the second world war the first night raid destroyed the original 1932 factory and the business moved to its present location in Cricklewood, London. Ronnie Rustin, Sidney's son, took over the business and ran it until his death in 2008. He drove the growth of Rustins to be one of the good brands in the industry with a focus on wood finishing products, speciality paints and decorating sundries. Rustins MDGP250 Quick Drying MDF Grey Primer 250ml Rustins Quick Drying MDF Primer is a water based primer for use on indoor and outdoor work. Used as a primer, it is suitable for new and bare MDF. It has good opacity and can be used as an undercoat on primed or painted surfaces. This primer may be over coated with water or solvent based finishing paints.

Review: Does the job really well - I got this primer for a project I was giving an old MDF desk a new lease of life and wanted a good quality primer before painting its final colour, This was absolutely perfect for that job, the primer is a nice colour, using a roller (big desk) i used this to cover both sides and im going to say the finish was perfect, the primer went on really well and dried really fast in fact I was able to complete my whole project in one day. One can does go along way in fact I had a little left over which I intend to use for another project (will need to order another of course) The primer was very easy to clean off the roller and the brush I used for the edge, its been months since I completed the project and the primer has been perfect, in fact I left the underneath in the great as it looked really good and with the led lights it reflects it better. Over all perfect a great product and brand happy to use them again and recommend

This primer is great I used it on an mdf fire surround and it was perfect for the job.

I got this primer for a project I was giving an old MDF desk a new lease of life and wanted a good quality primer before painting its final colour, This was absolutely perfect for that job, the primer is a nice colour, using a roller (big desk) i used this to cover both sides and im going to say the finish was perfect, the primer went on really well and dried really fast in fact I was able to complete my whole project in one day. One can does go along way in fact I had a little left over which I intend to use for another project (will need to order another of course) The primer was very easy to clean off the roller and the brush I used for the edge, its been months since I completed the project and the primer has been perfect, in fact I left the underneath in the great as it looked really good and with the led lights it reflects it better. Over all perfect a great product and brand happy to use them again and recommend
