They are more powerful and last twice as long as the factory battery. When you use the LCD to focus, it takes a lot of power from the battery and smallerCanon cameras are notorious for draining batteries. I can get over twice as many clicks out of my Canon M50 mirrorless with these batteries than the original Canon batteries. There is no such thing as too many spare batteries. Note, these batteries will drain power, even when out of the camera and stored, so be sure to charge them every time prior to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Knockoff Battery *by on Reviewed in the United States August 12, 2024* These batteries work great for my Canon Rebel SL1 and have great battery life and were easily cheaper than a licensed Canon battery.
