Review: Decent introduction to the topic of cloud data-center networking - It's pretty dry and somewhat repetitive and formulaic, but it covers all the bases I needed to be covered and am glad to have purchased and read it. I thought some of the diagrams were over-simplified. The author goes into deep detailed description of fabrics and switch silicon design which I didn't feel as pertinent to the over-all topic as other subjects which were glossed over more generally. It's a good "intro" to cloud data-center networking and highlights the differences in needs between enterprise and cloud data centers, if you don't mind diving into the weeds every now and again.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Decent introduction to the topic of cloud data-center networking

It's pretty dry and somewhat repetitive and formulaic, but it covers all the bases I needed to be covered and am glad to have purchased and read it. I thought some of the diagrams were over-simplified. The author goes into deep detailed description of fabrics and switch silicon design which I didn't feel as pertinent to the over-all topic as other subjects which were glossed over more generally. It's a good "intro" to cloud data-center networking and highlights the differences in needs between enterprise and cloud data centers, if you don't mind diving into the weeds every now and again.
