If you are not sure you can always go the the plumbing department at the big box store and buy a 2 inch long 1/2 inch pipe nipple and take it home. If the nipple screws into the compressor the Solberg should fit. When you are at the big box store you should pick up some teflon tape for the threads. **Q: Can this be used on the exhaust side of an air compressor to replace the breather?** A: yes, if the old breather was 1/2" pipe thread. there is paper filter inside, easily replaced. The air inlet turns out to be a tuned port; it keeps the noise down by turning the intake pulses into a smooth flow. It doesn't quiet the mechanical noise of course but I didn’t realize how much of my compressor noise was inlet noise! I just wanted a filter and was pleasantly surprised by how much the noise level went down. No noticeable restriction. Compact and easy to install. Far better than the broken plastic OEM filter housing it replaced. Nothing bad to say about it.And it’s just a few dollars more than the cheap imported knockoffs! Don’t hesitate. Get the real thing.
