Setting it up was straightforward, just hooked up the clamps, plugged it in, and let it do its thing. It figures out the voltage on its own which is nice if you aren't sure what you're working with. The unit feels really solid and compact compared to older chargers I've used. It doesn't take up much space in the garage. I like that I can just leave it connected without worrying about overcharging since it switches to maintenance mode automatically. Only downside is the cables could be a bit longer. Had to use an extension cord to reach the outlet from where my car is parked. Also, the display is kind of small, so reading the status from across the garage isn't happening.
