This was meant to be a solution to the lack of RV routing in Google Maps. It comes up short there. As a general GPS it is a nice unit, big bright display. Audio guidance is good and the voice activation is better than most voice activated devices I have tried. Battery life is so-so, but generally you wouldn't take this out of the car as a handheld device. The ability to search for certain attractions ahead on your route is nice, thou it would be better to have more than just food, fuel, and rest stops as your choices.The add on backup camera is a great feature as I don't need a second monitor taking up valuable real estate on my dash. Only downside is that there is no shortcut to the camera from the map view, you need to back out to the main menu and then press the camera button. Seeing as it is simply a small icon button in the corner, there should be no reason to not make it available on the map screen. When done with the camera, going back to the map requires two button presses again. The GPS supports up to 4 cameras, but you can only look at each one individually. I would like to see both side views at the same time.Routing is funny, on a recent trip from Ohio to Florida, it would often disagree with Google and my Honda internal GPS. A few times they all picked different routes at a crossroads!! I give the Honda a pass since its database is from 2011.But you didn't buy this for use solely in a car. You bought it for RV and camper use. SIngle word here, pass. The routing function for my 5th wheel is horrible! I am amazed how many times it tries to route me off the highway to single lane county roads and dirt roads, usually with no name! I have the most updated maps pack on it as well. Just took a 17 day trip to Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Colorado Springs and many times I was so frustrated with its performance I just stopped routing and used it for a simple map and let Google guide us. I would return it, but I have already mounted the camera and taped the extension cord for it to the roof of the camper.The Garmin SMartphone Link app is meant to connect the GPS to the internet for weather and traffic updates. I went through some massive storms on our recent trip and it never warned of a single drop of rain. And as others have said here, the traffic advice is bad. Ignore it and stick to the main highways. A 41' 5th wheel is no place for small residential streets to "save" 10 minutes of traffic that is probably cleared up by the time you got the update anyways.When searching for a place, the names can often be too long to show fully and you could end up picking the wrong location. Just type in Mount Rushmore and see how many things pop up. Make sure you select the info button on each one before you route to it.In closing I would recommend you pass on this. Maybe the 770LMT is better, but I am betting the have the same routing engine so I doubt it. ### ⭐ Most inaccurate GPS I've ever used! *by B***W on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2019* Original Review (and update at the end)...We took this camping 2 months ago and it was SO far off on directions. We just went again last week and made sure it was updated to the latest software, then made sure are vehicle was the RV... it didn't even know an interstate thats been open for 3 years. It did get us to the correct hwy, but even though the campground was ON that hwy, it tried to take us on 2 service roads that weren't even open to vehicles (more like trails)... even Google, Apple and Ford Nav was more accurate. Coming home (even after getting it right going to the campground), it tried to take us 6 miles past the turn and going North instead of South... this software is garbage!We spent a log of money on something that is MEANT for RV driving and its so inaccurate. Now its too late to return to Amazon and out the $$$I would like a refund from you - I’ve attached my order from Amazon. I’ve also attached pics showing the maps inaccuracies and pics of the roads it was trying to take us on.These 2 show just now after ALL updates… see Hwy 281 - and the purple line is the OFF ROAD trail it tried to take us on with our 32’ travel trailer.Pics of the 2 roads IT suggested:FORD Navigation (below) showing the CORRECT route and yours above offering the trail road.The whole point of having a GPS FOR an RV is so it doesn't take the back roads, etc... and yet it tries to go down some off road trails?DON'T Waste your money!--------------------------------------------------------UPDATE (emailed to Garmin Support):OK, update on the new map update.Trying to go from Dora, AL to Lake Guntersville State Park… ALL of my GPS (Apple Maps, Goole and even Ford Sync Nav) ALL say to go this way (without regard of towing a camper) - which is the fastest and best roads to travel (left image)...YOUR GPS says to go via Huntsville, AL - adding an hour to the trip. When I continue my original route, it tried to tell me to take a U-Turn to get back to I-65 (to Huntsville) for about 5 miles… then gave up and said go North a few times, trying to get a back road to Huntsville. After about 45 mins, if finally gave up and took the correct route. SO, its not like it doesn’t know the roads are there or they are new roads, etc… it just makes the WRONG decision ALL the time. Our I-22 (that has been open for over 3 years) is still not on the update - this is a Federal HWY.Again, how can you sell something that is obviously messed up and not have a fix for it. Its expensive due to the fact that its suppose to be “for RVs” and making better road choices, etc… but it can’t even make a 2 hour trip that’s pretty straight forward. Since you’ve had another map update and no changes, doesn’t look like its a MAP issue - its a software issue - it just doesn’t work.Do you plan on having an update to the software soon that might fix these issues… or should I just trash it now and lever buy a Garmin product again (and share this review everywhere I can???)VERY upset (as you can tell) and you have no recourse to refund ANY money at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Uses truck routing software > not RV routing!!! *by C***R on Reviewed in Canada on August 19, 2020* Reliable, better than Magellan or TomTom.It does the job of keeping you away from the roads with low bridges and passes. Good for RVs, trucks and buses.Lower price because of slower processor compared to Garmin's trucking units.1. Oftentimes it will take you on detours in town because trucks are not always allowed on residential streets.  2.
