The only concern I had was that the end with tinder was extremely hard to pull on the cord. The good is that it throws concentrated sparks to the end of the rod which makes starting your tender much easier. Little on the pricey side but it's a unique product that works well. If you spend any time in the woods I would suggest making this an essential part of your fire kit. Review: So easy to use - This is the firestarter to end all firestarters. So easy to use, anyone can use it. I plan to give it to my wife to use since she has trouble with regular firesteels. Shipping is amazingly fast and product is high quality and works very well. One side is flat so it’ll secure into the housing.
