What I love the most is the power button is on the handle *genius.* My old Kettle had a power tab on the base, which would get stuck and keep the kettle boiling even when there was no water in it or it wouldn’t stay in the on position and I would have to press it six or seven times just to get it to stay in the on position. The color of this kettle is so lovely and I love that the lid is a pull top and not one that you have to pinch on the sides to open. Definitely, boils water quickly. I had the Hamilton Beach electric kettle before and that thing was a fire hazard. I would 100% by this kettle again. But I decided to try this electric kettle out because I loved the idea of seeing inside the kettle (we have lots of minerals in our well water) & that it says it boils water faster than the stovetop. And they were correct! Super fast & I love the slight irridescent color of the kettle. Been using now for 4 months on a daily basis & it is great.
