Does it have a way to mount to tripods or stands? And does it work for the Rode NTG3?** A: It works great for any microphone needing phantom power which, i'm pretty sure includes the Rode NTG3. It does not however, run on batteries. It comes with it's own 18volt power supply but if you plan on using your mic for photography and need to move around, then you probably want something else.
