Got a new one and they work perfectly! *by J***O on December 19, 2017* I bought these hoping to install them and be happy with the results. But these lights are very cheaply made. The connections from the end of the LED strip and the from the decoder all fell right off the soldering points. I soldered them back together and got them working again but as I was finishing up the installation in my car, a few LEDs decided to die and would no longer change colors or function. They just stayed blue ish white. Very disappointed in these lights I do not recommend at all.EDIT: Botepon emailed me about my issue they looked into what happened. They apologized for the problem I had and said they had they products checked for quality assurance. They offered me another pair as a gift and I'll be expecting that. For now I'm giving 3 stars for their service. I'll consider rating 5 stars when I get the new pair and get them installed in my car.UPDATE 12/29/17:I received my new pair today and just got them installed. They work just as they should and they gave me no problems at all. I appreciate the customer service provided, was very helpful. I would now recommend these lights. They look great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As promised *by L***M on January 28, 2018* It took a bit to figure out wiring, plus how to route the wire out without drilling any holes, but this thing does everything they say it will. I will say that i would like to have more control over the ‘running light’ function, as it seems to be more of a demo of colors. I might turn it on while driving in a pride parade, but it’s otherwise not too useful. Also (and this could just be my wiring), but it seems this does not light up unless you have your lights turned on (meaning brake lights and such don’t work unless at least your parking lights are on).I only removed one star because of the lack of control of the running light feature. Otherwise i am quite happy. ### ⭐ I had everything wired up and it was working properly for a day (and it was awesome for that one day *by C***E on March 29, 2018* It stopped working shortly after being installed. I had everything wired up and it was working properly for a day (and it was awesome for that one day!), but now it is stuck on full white lights all the time. No matter what I do it just stays on white.
