## Description

Super Kleer KC Fining Clarifier is suitable for clarifying all beers, wines and ciders. It is a highly effective two-step fining agent composed of liquid kieselsol and chitosan. Each component works by attracting particles of the opposite charge. The kieselsol, also known as silicon dioxide, is negatively charged and the chitosan, which is derived from shellfish, is positively charged. Each package will treat 5 to 6 gallons.

Review: Great product - Great product. I have used kieselsol and chitosan off & on in the past to clarify wine with consistently good results. Recently had a batch of wine that would not clarify using other methods and this product did the job.
Review: Fantastic for clarification of wine - This works exactly as it should and we do not produce and wine without using this. Following the directions helps a lot. Give the wine and each stage time to do it's thing. Rushing may impact results... ok I should like a warning label but it does make a difference. Be sure to use the correct amounts for the size carboy or demijohn. We have not had any residue in our bottles after adding this. I do recommend racking it after clarification so that you do not have to watch the sediment line while bottling. Highly recommend

**Q: what is the shelf life of this product?**
A: Don't know, but I have kept some for several years and it still worked

**Q: This worked great in my wine. But what is the procedure for beer? Does it come with directions?**
A: That's a good question. Super-Kleer is for all fermented beverages including beer. Just follow the same instructions on the package for beer, wine, mead or cider.

**Q: It didn’t work at all. I put it in my wine 3 weeks ago. What should I do?**
A: Out of the 30 or so times I've used this stuff, it only failed once. I think there was a flaw with the juice. It was a NY white, Niagara. Should have been a golden color, but it came to me light brown in color. What kind of wine are you making? How many times did you rack it before adding the KC? And what was your fermentation temp? 
Can you post some pics?

**Q: How can I use this for 1 gallon?**
A: Will work just fine.
