Does anyone use a saltwater system with their ipool?** A: Yes, I have only used salt to chlorinate my iPool. Bought the sand filter/pump, salt water generator (which helps clear agae and bacteria) and am considering the Hayward electric heater (must have the back valve unit with this item), although I know it will have to be replaced in a few years. I have had my iPool over 4 years now, salt has not been a problem, however you must calibrate the salt % carefully and keep a weekly check. No need to add any more salt once you hit the saturation level needed, useful tool is a digital hand held tester to affirm the salt water chlorinator generator ($80 on ebay) is correct. Also purchased a vinyl ladder (with stainless steel hardware) as the FitMax accessory ladder was corroding. We had a custom cover made from marine tarp and used an old canopy frame; we swim all year round in SoCal. **Q: Can this pool be heated?** A: Absolutely. Fitmax sells the same pool here on Amazon with a heater as part of the kit. You can also use any spa heater for the purpose. We keep ours at about 90 degrees year round here in the northeast. **Q: My husband is 6' 4 will he have trouble swimming in it?** A: I have the Ipool 2 (same size as the Ipool3) and am also 6'4". Had to take it down in order to build my art studio. But missed my pool and no longer had room for one. Then I found the ipool 3 on line! I ran outside and measured my yard! The best spot for it was my dog run! I took out the wrought iron fencing and reconfigured the dog run elsewhere. Set up my ipool! Jumped in when only half full, just couldn't wait!
